North One is to reunite with John Wick star Keanu Reeves for a follow-up to their Disney+ series Brawn: The Impossible Formula 1 Story.
The actor, who will once again host and executive produce the series via his and Simon Hammerson’s KR+SH production company, is to turn his sights to the birth of Cadillac Formula 1 Team, which next year will become first new team to join the motor-racing class since 2016.
The owners of the sport’s first American-based team, TWG Motorsports and General Motors, have offered exclusive access to the All3 Media label as the team prepares for its debut at the 2026 FIA Formula 1 World Championship season opener in Melbourne. The series will air before the race.
Giving viewers a look inside the challenges of assembling a competitive team, the series has been developed by Hammerson and North One’s Neil Duncanson – who retired from All3Media label North One in February. Hammerson will direct and exec producer, while Duncanson will also exec produce.
It is understood Disney has not yet commissioned the series, but talks are ongoing.

“Our goal with the docuseries is to bring audiences into the heart of this journey and showcase what it takes to participate in one of the most exclusive sports arenas in the world.”

Four parter Brawn: The Impossible Formula 1 Story won the Best Sports Documentary Emmy last year, having landed in November 2023 on Disney+ and Hulu.
